San Diego Zoo Safari Park - Demonstration Wetlands A 2 acre demonstration wetland system that provides an enhanced wetlands habitat and acts as an educational component to enhance visitor experience. The project included demolition, minor grading and drainage, fences and gates, concrete foundations, site electrical, pond construction, irrigation, and planting.
Unique Aspect: The demonstration wetland system was designed to improve water quality within the park through natural biological filtration while simultaneously decreasing park water consumption
